The Executive Board was elected in October 2016.
It is responsible for all the Society’s affairs. In particular, the Executive Board has the following responsibilities:
- Preparing for and convening the Meeting of Members and compilation of the agenda
- Passing resolutions on the acceptance of members
- Representing the Society’s interests in public,
towards national and international authorities - Deciding upon the time and place of the European Congress of Virology
- Advice of funding agencies and political institutions of the European Union
